Pride of place in the museum is given to a wall tapestry dating from the sixteenth century. The renewed museum also has a collection of traditional Zeeland costumes, which are displayed in a contemporary fashion alongside modern clothing. The Zeeuws Museum also contains a number of collections which have not been previously shown, such as the ethnography collection which is returningto Zeeland after an absence of fifty years. An audio-visual programme is available and visitors can take an alternative route through the museum using the video guides.
