Back in 1979 Anny and Bert van der Meer decided to invest their holiday money in cactus seed with which to start their 6000m2 cactus nursery. Nowadays the countless varieties of cacti and the stories told by hostess Anny attract hundreds of visitors every day. Anny's Cactus Children's theatre holds children enthralled. Cactus Oasis is fun and educational for children, making it very suitable for children's parties and school trips.

Cactus Oasis also has a café and a small shop where cactus seeds can be bought, and where advice is given on planting and plant care.
