The 19th-century Prince Hendrik was the royal inspiration between the former model room, which meanwhile developed into a museum which was open to the public. Exhibitions regularly attract nationwide interest, covering subjects such as The Holland-America Line, Treasures of NedLloyd and The Treasure of Corpus Christi. A world-class port such as Rotterdam has plenty to offer, and the museum takes full advantage of this!
