in an area covering 300 m2 the hisotry of sound comes to life, from the invention of the phonograph in 1877 to the modern era in the 1980s, taking in the gramophone, the tape recorder and the cassette recorder. The museum has a large colection of phonographs and acoustic gramophones on display, as well as a two-metre high juke box from 1908 complete with wax cylinders, and the world's smallest portable record player.
