Learn all about the rich hisotry of Haarlem. Film, artefacts and temporary exhibitions are all used to take visitors back in time: from the Seige of harlem in 1572 to the Great Fire some years later and the founding of the Almshouses.
The imposing St Bavochurch is a real eye-catcher right in the centre of Haarlem. The church is in the top 100 of UNESCO monuments in the Netherlands and is well worth visiting. Organ concerts are given regularly on the Christiaan Müller organ.
